12 apples, Granny Smith is a great choice
cinnamon, a few dashes
1/4 c. sugar or sugar substitute–optional
few tablespoons of water
Yields: about 4 servings
Prep time: about 30 minutes
Cook time: 15-20 minutes
1. Peel and quarter the apples.
2. Put the apples into a large pot with a few tablespoons of water–just enough to cover the bottom of the pot.
3. Cook on Medium, mashing occasionally with a potato masher. Sprinkle on a little cinnamon and/or sugar. Enjoy!
